I am a full-stack creative and builder of over-engineered Zoom setups. I helped create Techcabal and Zikoko.
I’m currently working on a number of book and content projects.
Sovereignty Stack (H1 2025) is a practical thesis on how anyone, anywhere in the world, can make a plan and acquire critical stat boosts that allow them transcend citizenship-based barriers to participating in the global economy, and maximise their life outcomes.
Nigerianisms (2026) explores Nigerian culture and its quirky expressions through the lens of Afrobeats and Nollywood.
Afro Macro (2026) is a series of African urban cityscape capture projects.
This Is Not Rocket Science (2027) is an anthology of optimistic thought experiments about solving Africa’s infrastructure deficits.
These days, I’m based in the UK. Email to say hi.

In 2013, I started Techcabal.com, a digital publication providing daily newsletters, articles, reports, expert opinions, and insight into startups and tech advancements across Africa. This evolved into Big Cabal Media, which later launched Zikoko.com, a platform amplifying African youth culture through smart and joyful content. Both publications are industry leaders, with Big Cabal Media raising over $2 million in seed funding in early 2022.
For six years, I wrote TC Daily, which became the definitive morning briefing on African tech for founders, investors, and ecosystem players.
TC Insights grew from a series of town halls we started hosting in 2018, and is now a full-fledged research unit producing some of the most cited data about African tech.
During the 2014 Ebola crisis, we built Ebolafacts.com — a 150-kilobyte infographic site that could load on slow mobile connections. It went viral, got translated to French by volunteers, and was adopted by government agencies and NGOs. Nigeria's second-largest telco distributed it via SMS nationwide.
While no longer involved in day-to-day operations, I continue to serve on the board of directors.

When I joined to lead the growth team’s editorial operation in 2020, I got a front-row seat to Stripe's acquisition of Paystack - the most exciting African tech exit to date - and told the story through Shola's eyes.
I also revived the Decode Fintech newsletter through automated news gathering and streamlined workflows, bringing it back to a weekly publication cadence.
When COVID hit, I led our pivot to video content, and built a distributed video operation, producing marketing assets across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.
